In the framework of exchanging culture between Japanese and Egyptian, JICA Alumni had the pleasure to organize home stay program for JICA volunteers during their language training course.
JOCV Coordinator and JICA Alumni Chairman had a meeting and they discussed the possibility of receiving volunteers.
The host family would be from Alumni members who are trusted and interested in having volunteers in their homes.
Each volunteer was planned to make home stay for 2 nights and 3
days during the week end.
The volunteer is required to report JICA office by his experience with the host family.
The JICA Alumni carried out the home stay 2 times this year for 2 batches of volunteers with total number 5 volunteers. The volunteers experienced home stay with Alumni’s members and both sides were very glad to have these experience. The JICA Alumni is planning to continue hosting volunteers through its member’s next year
